Non-Profit
In an attempt to draw more tourists to the Village of
Pinehurst, the Business Guild took on a fund-raising effort to
support several local, non-profit concerns. Individuals and
businesses were approached and asked to sponsor artists who were
then asked to donate their time and talents to "adorn"
a dog. The dogs have been placed on the Village sidewalks from
May until the September auction. A weekly calendar for 2005,
highlighting each dog, has been designed and produced by Hitchcock
Design and is being sold as part of the fund-raising event. |
